  An original painting by a professional, accomplished artist and gallery owner for more than 50 years with a stellar reputation was accepted on consignment. A day later Tracy Pollack asked that the painting be picked up because she felt it was not an original as represented. Her expert opinion was that it was a print because the painting had too much "sheen and it wasn't on canvas." The painting is an original oil on board. Tracy Pollack effectively called the painting a fraud. The gallery's website claims to serve the avid art collector and enthusiast, well nothing could be farther from the truth. Their ignorance and arrogance in insulting a true professional is unmatched. I would never recommend purchasing a thing from this gallery as their level of knowledge and expertise is minimal al best.
